WHO WE ARE

Laba was established in 2009 as the umbrella landowner company for the customary landowners of the PNG LNG site to participate in commercial activities from the PNG LNG Project construction.

Customary landowners also receive income from equity in the PNG LNG Project as mandated under the Oil & Gas Act. After PNG LNG construction, LHL was awarded certain contracts such as transportation, vegetation clearance, and labour hire.
