PAPUA LNG PROJECT
-
Laba is a strong contender for the construction and operation of the 7000-man temporary Camp Facility (TCF) main camp for the Papua LNG Project downstream component at the LNG Plant site.
-
Important to note that Laba was partner in the management and operations of the 7000-man camp for the PNG LNG Foundation Project.
-
Laba will also be hiring to contract our people along the Papuan coast for employment in the project, we will be looking to hire trade skills and general and casual labour. Based on the PNG LNG Project, up to 5000 national workers will be required, both for the associated upstream and downstream Papua LNG Project.
-
For the camp operations we will need cleaners, kitchen hands, plant & equipment operators, storemen, chefs, managers (about 700 people) and we will develop a program to certify their skills so they are able to work under the PALM Scheme and work in the aged care, hospitality and remote mine site sectors in Australia.
